Chris loves Woofy, Woofy loves Chris?

So much love between these 2...Woofy loves Chris but not so much being handled like this...

Our super cooking appliances!

This is the Contact Roaster--we can roast the whole chicken inside. I think Kate should take this home if mum and dad cant find similar thing in HK/China or if it is too expensive to buy over there-:)

It has a hole at the bottom to allow excess fat to drip out, sort of make the food a bit more healthy so to speak.

This is our griller, we grill steaks, meat patties, and halved sausages inside. I also use it to cook sweet potato chips (sliced sweet potato)

The bottom half is in an angle which allows fat to drip on the tray.

Life recently...

Chris finally got a job working at Noel Leeming installing electronic appliances and doing delivery. It's not the best pay in the world but it's good enough for now anyway.

Now that he has a job I'm really hoping to quit mine and work somewhere else. I've been feeling really really tired of my receptionist work and hoping to go somewhere esle which gives me regular hours and regular breaks during work.

I guess I can totlaly understand why Sofia hated her receptionsit job so much before she left; working unsocialable hours is really not ideal for people who has a family. At least for her, she always take her breaks and she always have people covering peak time with her. For me and Abbi...because we are so short of staff, we dont get regular breaks (pretty much NO breaks) and quite often we have to work all by ourselves at reception when it is busy. The very first time I felt really disappointed with my supervisor when she left me at reception all by myself and went to do aerobic class instead. It's so not fair working at where I am now...I do get paid pretty well and I love my colleagues...but I feel so trapped in there and I really feel like they overstretched all of the contracted staff there...

Maybe I don't suit working in the sport industry since working irregular hours is part of the job descriptions...Although I have to stress that working at a fitness centre reception really isnt so much "working in the sport industry" since all I do is smile and take whatever shit from the customers who think they are always right! By the way, we have no choice but take all the blame from customers when management is too slow to act and when management is too ignorance to care about a damn thing!

Yeah...2 years working as a receptionist really worn me out...I need a new job and I'm determined to get it before I get married in May!

Wish me luck and pray for me...

what a rip off!

What a rip off man...now that our ex-landlord decided not to recarpet the rooms, we are required to steamclean it ourselves...As I was very annoyed with the quick change of mind of the landlord, I rang him to ask if we can hire a Rug Dr instead of hiring professional carpet cleaners (which cost at least $25 per room!). Landlord said he doesnt mind and he told me that it was Carrie (the lady who stayed with us before) who asked him to get the carpets cleaned upstairs. Landlord said Carrie worries that our rooms have fleas... I was very angry when I heard that as our rooms were a lot cleaner than hers, no way there are fleas inside!

Anyway, I feel like she stapped us on our backs, making moving out of that place so much more expensice than it should be... By saying that, it is still worth moving out of that place so we no longer have to put up with staying with other people!

Don't worry Kate, I rather spend a bit more money than putting up with the smells... We are happy with where we are right now so that's okay!

Moving home

Moving flat again...once a year, pretty standard for my time in NZ...I move to a new place every year...
This time is rather different though! It's gonna a REAL HOME this time, NOT a student flat! I'm so excited that I no longer have to share a home with other people apart from my very own family! This is going to be where Chris and I stay after we get married. Before that Kate and I will stay together, then mum and dad will come over and stay with us for a few weeks-:)
Yea as Kate said the flat is rather far away from town BUT HEY! that's how we can save money on buying "I feel like..." junk food you know! Never have a chance to just walk to the supermarket and buy junk food...unless we want to walk it off all the way and back from town...haha...
It's a small place but very good for couples. Still bigger than our aprtment at home though so it will be good enough until we have $$ to buy a big house-:)
Right! Now we just have to endure the pain of packing, moving, unpacking, cleaning, and tidying up...hmmmm...that's why I hate moving....even though I have already done it so many times...(this is the 7th time I move flat...)
