My Toastie Sandwiches

This is what I've been eating for lunch (an alternative to instand noodles!). Its toastie sandwiches! I love them and I tend to eat more than I usually can stuff myself -:P

My favouraite fillings are:

• Raw egg
• Tuna (plain and flavoured)
• Baked beans
• Left over veges from dinner
• Pink ginger (sushi ginger)

I think that's all I have used so far... I use many different combinations depending on what I have in stock.

Thanks to Johnny who left us with his toastie sandwich machine (he had too much to take back to China)! Wonder if I can use pancake mix next time and cook pancakes with that... hohoho

Recent News

Nothing much happening still have not found a job yet, feeling rather disappointed and frustrated... I keep wondering "what's wrong with me? How come no one wants to employ me?" By saying that I should really look at just how short the time I have been seriously looking for a job...well...about 2 weeks only... I think I'm just being very impatience and faithless to God. It took Chris over 3 months to find the job he is at now; it's no easy task!

The other thing that limit how many jobs I can apply is the working hours of the jobs. Well I refuse to work on weekends and evenings. Therefore I'm really limited to the office hours (hours that Chris is now working). I do not mind working rostered Saturday but giving up Sunday is not going to be possible. I swore to God that I will not give up my Church Sunday for anything!

Family comes first, Chris does not want me to work weekends either so let's just stick with applying for Monday to Friday jobs for now...

The Three Pillars of Truth

Three Pillars of Truth

Yet three pillars of truth can help you endure and triumph:

1. God knows yout problems. Your woes have not taken God by surprise. He is aware of every detial of your troubles: "Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him" (Matt. 6:8)

2. God cares about your problems. God loves you without limit. As the Good Shepherd, He will protect and defend you: "Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's" (2 Chron. 20:15).

3. God is able to deal with your problems. God has the power to handle your problems. Because He knows and cares, He will act according to His wisdom and will: "Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7).

Prayer: O Lord, thank You for the assurance that You know about my problems, You care about them, and You are able to deal with every issue.
