GRADUATION!

Our BIG DAY today!!! Kate and I graduated this morning at the Regent Theatre Palmerston North. Kate graduated with her Bachelor of Business Studies and I graduated with my Postgraduate Diploma of Business & Administration. Guests attended were Chris (of course!), Uncle, Jason and Lance; Kenny was outside the whole time, if we knew that he could have come in to the theatre because we had spare ticket..
It was a great day, we went out for lunch at a cafe' and had dinner at a Thai resturant (only Paul, Chris and us two this time). We also attended a thanks-giving service at a church tonight-:)

Next year will be BIGGER! Chris and I are both graduating and we are planning to get married around May next year too. Hopefully my mum & dad will come next year, for my graduation and probably wedding!!!

Foxton Beach Camp

Our Fire Club had its very first official outing last weekend (29-30April); we went to Foxton Beach and stayed at Tyne's beach house for a night.
Lots of cool stuff happened; lots of photos and lots of fire. We had a nice bonfire going for the whole night as we chatted and sang in a circle.
I was the camera man for the whole time, I really wnjoyed taking good photos (tried to anyway...) Now I really want to invest in a professional camera, maybe a vedio camera also-:)
THe highlight of the night came when the town siren set off and the fire truck turned up; someone called 111 and reported there was a fire on the beach. The fire fighters told us that setting fire on the beach is prohibited at all time. Lucky they didnt make us put it out straight the way though; we just needed to keep the place tidy and put out the fire properly at the end of the night. Ha! That was really hilarious; everyone tried their best not to laugh when the fire fighters were there.
Anyway, it was a great bonding activity for us (Jess and Martin even become a couple...even though they didnt know each other much at all before this) We are planning to camp on the mountain and fire dance on the snow for our next outing. IT WILL BE FUN!
